Printed on Hahnemuhle Museum Etch Matte Paper, The Main Image was an abandoned home in the Badlands of Alberta in the winter. There was no trees, river or fires shot. The Fine Art Giclee Print was created by a series of various other photographs overlaid in a unique way and blended to make the print appear as if it were painted. Each print is signed, numbered and recorded. Extensive work goes into producing these images and framing them. Only 10 of these are being produced in this very limited run. If purchased or interested, I will go through the entire thought process and point all of the fine and unique details as well as the "easter eggs" that I place into my limited edition fine art images.
The frame is 130 year old Larch Barnwood that was reclaimed from the Fernie, BC. The frame was hand charred to enhance the depth, enrich the tones of the wood and really bring out the saw marks, washed with a water based stain before being varnished to help compliment the colours of the image. UV Protective glass, acid free frame spacers and acid free foam core backing, sealed with dust paper and professional grade hanging hardware.
