The Hustle and Trestle of the City - 10x16 - Framed in reclaimed wood frame.

Printed on Hahnemuhle archival matte paper, The Hustle and Trestle of the City was taken in March of 2022 in Okotoks. The long exposure image creates a soft and ominous foreground with the trestle leading to the bright city background. The reclaimed wood frame was hand charred to enhance the depth, enrich the tones of the wood and really bring out the saw marks. Stained in  "forest green" water based stain and then washed lightly to allow for the muted red/brown tones of the wood to shine through.  The frame was sealed with a dead flat water based varnish and the print is covered by UV Protective glass, acid free frame spacers and foam core backing, sealed with dust paper and professional grade hanging hardware.
